Centers of Excellence
The DDX3X Foundation has officially named two Centers of Excellence for DDX3X Syndrome where the DDX3X Longitudinal Natural History Study will be conducted. The Centers of Excellence for DDX3X Syndrome will provide the best clinical care available for individuals affected by DDX3X Syndrome as well as increase understanding of the syndrome by participation in the Natural History Study as we continue to fund research for treatments.
These centers are staffed by clinicians and other professionals who are experts on DDX3X Syndrome and are dedicated to identifying and meeting families’ needs. Not only do they serve as an invaluable resource for DDX3X families, but unified data collection will identify shared, high-priority concerns among those affected and lay the foundation for developing new treatments.
