Centers of Excellence
The DDX3X Foundation has officially named one Center of Excellence (COE) for DDX3X Syndrome and is in the final planning stages to open a second COE site. The COEs are an invaluable resource for DDX3X families as they not only provide the best clinical care available for individuals affected, but also aid in increased understanding of the syndrome through unified data collection. The COEs are staffed by clinicians and other professionals who are experts on DDX3X Syndrome and are dedicated to identifying and meeting families’ needs.
The second COE will open at University of Pennsylvania/Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia later this year.
