Ashley is the mother of Harper, diagnosed with DDX3X in 2014, right before her 4th birthday, following the release of the first research paper. Ashley has been working to help support the community and families of DDX3X, collaborate with other rare genetic disorder/mutations, and advocate for others and Harper by building a network to support medical research. Ashley’s passion is to emphasize the important of mental health for parents and families. Ashley along with her husband, Hunter, and son, Lake, host an annual family fun weekend for families with DDX3X on their cattle farm, Chastain Farms, in Rogers, Arkansas.
