Jamie has spent most of her career in and around the nonprofit sector. Currently, she serves as the vice president for a Virginia-based nonprofit where she oversees the organization’s marketing, recruitment, development, and legislative advocacy efforts. Jamie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Longwood University and a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies from Hollins University. Jamie and her husband, Patrick, own two small businesses in their hometown of Salem, Virginia where they reside with their three daughters. Their family joined the DDX3X tribe in September 2015 when their middle daughter, Emelyn, was diagnosed with a DDX3X gene variant.
